They worked together in a way that brought the study to a whole new level and I truly don't think I'd have had the same experience without them. I would absolutely recommend that you use them as you go through the workbook. It really added a whole new light to the meaning for me. I loved all of the background information she infused into the text to give us a better understanding of how the original audience would have interpreted the words. Jen was funny and real, but she was also really prepared. The accompanying videos really, truly tied everything together so well. I knew what to expect each week and how much time I needed to allot for it. I also really liked the repetitive structure. I liked that it was simple, but still a lot of the questions challenged me and made me think. Small, easy chunks that went through the book chapter by chapter. The homework each week was productive and manageable. This study blew me away! It's the first Jen Wilkin study I've ever done, and I am definitely intrigued by her teaching and writing style. I mean, Hebrews has just never been my favorite book to trudge through. Personally, I have to admit, I wasn't as excited as they were.
